Better Late than Never
Half of the adult Americans are now using social network sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn. (Source: Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life phone survey conducted from April – May 2011 sampling 2,277 adults aged 18 and older)
The most marked growth to social site users over the past year has been for
those 30 and older; with those in the 65+ age group growing approximately 7% over last year. While baby boomers (50-64) are just beginning to adapt to using social network sites on a daily basis, daily use is par for the course for those 30 and younger users.
